1994 Escort GT in damn nice condition...

This body will become the host for my gt-x (aka the gray one) and all future setups. It's been lowered and makes mine look so much taller.



More to come later. :eek:

Cept for being a ultra cop magnet I kinda like the red. When my GT was still teal (bright calypso green) it was a cop magnet but after looking like shit with body work and primer they quit looking at it all together oddly enough. Now that I have perfect GT bumpers again, it's going to stay that way, no more body kit ;) for me.. Kinda sucks that I have to waste time swapping out the power windows and locks, I dislike powered shit. I'm not used to having the roof sitting so low due to the sunroof either.

yeah the rood is a bit lower with teh sunroof in there. same thing with my copper car. but sparco speeds and spacro brakets solved that issue. you can also go mx3 seats and it will make you feel less hunch back driving.

It was a nightmare driving that thing 30 miles home with the engine running uber rich, plus I totally forgot what it acts like with the stock flywheel. They had no idea what they were doing when they turbo'd the stock engine... This gt is freaking clean... only spot of rust I can honestly find is on the drivers side frame rail under the front bolt of the battery tray. It's got a quarter sized hole from a leaky battery. I'm just gonna cut it all out and weld in a new steel replacement plate to fix that.

Dude I know that Car. I know that guy you bought it from. If not mistakin it has a slipping cluth. The guy's name was Riz actually. Anyways if you ever have any plans with it or swap anything from it let me know. I have a LX-GT and Im looking for a 1.8 for it. If you ever wanna get together let me know.

Are you in broward county? The clutch didn't slip on me once and I wasn't gentle on the way home with it. If you look under the for sale section I'm parting it's guts out.

Everything under the hood of the red gt and then almost the entire gray gt except for the suspension, engine, drivetrain, electronics, and misc bits of the interior.

Got bored while taking parts out so I tossed on the lights and grille from the gt-x. I still got the hood too but it doesn't line up with the gt fenders. One day I'll do the front end conversion....

Just to show how cramped it is in my garage atm

And now its time to start fixing what a leaky battery has caused... I cut a decent sized hole in to the frame rail to really see what had been damaged. I'm going to have to cut down at least another inch to remove permanently rusted/rotted outer frame. The inside layers are in great shape so its really not as bad as it seems. Once it's all cleaned up and prepared I'll weld in a patch and strip the paint so that the engine bay can be repainted 8) Lots of work to go before it's ready to receive anything from the gray one.

i wish i would have thought of that! a 323 front on an egt would be sick.
