Recently my left front tire blew out.

It took the front bumper off and damaged the left front fender...along with that it ripped the left front turn signal off of the car.

After spending hundreds at the junkyard to restore the car...one problem remains...

I found a donor car and heat shrinked and soldered the 3 wires going to the turn signal.

The turn signal worked but with the following 2 problems remaining:

1- The indicator light in the car did not show that the turn signal was on

2- The "turn lever stalk" in the vehicle would not return to its original position after making turns causing a dangerous situation since there was no indicator on the dash to show that the left turn signals are on. It would however return to its original position on right turns.

Then....It rained really really hard.

After the rain....

The dash turn signal began to work again!!

However, The turn signal stalk still will not return to its original position on left turns.

Any ideas WTF???

Thanks 8O

I have a dash light that works intermittently as well.

As far as the signal not returning, I had that problem in the Mustang when the steering wheel was on upside down.

Other than that, the stalk could be faulty.
