I think we should have a topic that is something like the "turbo setup"one but this would show detailed setup that we are running and what is the Horse power and torque that we are getting from it. This would give information to others giving them a general ideal of what power they are running with X-turbo, X-psi, X-manifold, etc.

I figure not everyone had their car dyno'ed but the few that has can give a stand point for the people that have a simular setup. I am just looking more on the new people that are on here. It would eliminate the questions such as "how much horsepower can you get from a 1.9,2.0,or 1.8 engine"

It wont help though... those questions are usually asked by folks who cant be bothered to read the stickies ... or much else for that matter.

HA HA HA That is the questions that I am trying to avoid. But its going to happen anyways because people dont know how to read and just want the answer given to them.

what you want is a thread with the following:

    1. engine
    2. engine management
    3. dyno #s
    4. gear used for dyno and other variables like temp, fuel altitude etc.
    5. pieces used in turbo kit (manifold, piping, turbo injectors etc)
    6. pics
    7. qm times

pretty much what the sticky already has lol

You send me one easy payment of 19.95 as a special internet offer I can tell you how to get all these parts at a fraction of the average price. Also included is how to build more horsepowerz the Honda Ricer way free if you order in the month of April.

im starting to wonder if some of you dont notice the topic starter isnt asking how to make power or what makes power...he KNOWS what makes power. just wants newbies to have clean cut answers so they knock off the over killed topics.

I sort of missed that. We actually do have that topic. Or we did. It was a how-to by Marclar.

You missed the point that no one bothers to read the stickies so whats the point.

Maybe we could start a way to force people to read the stickies before being able to even post? And to prevent them from just skimming through the crap, we could put a time limit on when their computer accesses the server for posting stuff, and put up a message such as "wow, you're a fast reader, rice boy!" should they try to post early, or skip a sticky. It would prevent a lot of people abusing the system and going directly to asking questions. It would also scare away the stupid people. I don't mind those who get on and post the occasional random question, but oi, do I get tired of asking what kinds of bolt-ons exist for the 1st gen, or what can be done to make more power, or exhaust sizes, or what heads fit what. Kids these days.....

I like the idea of the thread, but if we create a way to force people to read it, that's even better. Otherwise it's a pearl in a pig's ear.

ah I guess I missed that too. Multitasking is something I was ever good. Playing video games, waiting for EAP to get done calculating, and scanning all my old forum haunts.

The post I was refering to is Here, but doesn't seem to be a sticky. It really needs to be. Bunch of good info there.

EDIT: Nevermind it is stickied. Just wasn't showing up to me for some reason.
