ok say I have a 91 EGT...I bolt on a turbo...how much psi can i run with everything stock...how do i go about changing psi on a turbo...and how do you change compression ratio in engine to run more...

If the air/fuel mix and boost timming retard is right you can run up to 15psi on the fatory motor.

Yeah, but the stock GT injectors like to lock up around 6 or 7 psi.

Do like Denis and upgrade to RX7 turbo ones.

See you guys missed a key word in my post...the word "stock." I have completely stock. I want to add turbo...I will add the other shit as I go but I want turbo on now. What can a complete STOCK motor take

without upgradeing anything, I wouldn´t go above 5psi. The fuel pump and injectors will be hateing you.

The 1.8L gt motor´s compression is 9:1, witch isn´t bad for turboing a car.

To change the boost pressure produced by a turbo you need to adjust the wastegate. That means you can go from everything from a one-way valve from home depot, to a $700 Apex´i AVC-R.

Right now I´m going to be using a simple valve, but planning on upgrading to a TurboXs 2 setting boost controller.
