I could afford it, but I know that if I bought it, I´d end up shanking at least another 1000 bucks into my car, and THAT, I can´t afford. Today is a sad, sad day... for me.

Sucks too, because I just happen to need a new exhaust manifold, and now´s my chance to turbocharge my car. I was hoping to do a "ghettocharge", where basically I see how cheaply I can do a turbo install, of course without damaging any components, but sacrificing performance of course.

No intercooler, no fancy new injectors, no boost timer, no new fuel pump, regulator, rail, no fancy apexi meters, just the turbo, the proper oil hookups, and that´s absolutely it.

I personally think that my GT is fairly fast the way it is, but I want a loud, definitive spool up, and that´s all I want, even if it runs poorly... as I get the money, I´ll make it run nicely.

Oh man that would be so outstandingly awesome.

It won´t? I thought the B6 and the BP had the same exhaust manifold... or was that block? Dennis - you´re the turbo god, what parts of the B6 and BP are the same?

Hey Man Ghettocharging has put my car as the most known car in the small ******* town of Prescott (Preskitt).

I just wanted to prove that you can take any sport compact and put the right thought into it and make it better then any ´performance´ Civic and do it for a whole lot less then the ´hype´ on aftermarket parts.

Today´s kill in the AM hours: 94 Honda Civic Hatchback. 89A going up the hill to Prescott Valley. 4th gear --- 90mph. Left him like it was standing still.

Best part: his girlfriend was in the car :-]

I´m sure I´ll get another one this afternoon or evening too ;-)

I bid on it anyway, $206.00 even, reserve still not met though. If I get it, I´ll go buy the GTX manifold from corksport for 180 and MAKE it fit. ;-)
