I was just wondering what some of the tell tell signs are of a tranny going bad.

slipping, wont go into gear, grinding, real sloppy shifting (automatic), car doesnt move, strange noises from under the car. you should know when a tranny is going out.

yeah mine went 4 times so far. It makes a grinding sound, won´t shift or shifts a higher rpm, skips a gear or slams it into gear so hard it chirps that tires. I´ll tell ya what ya get some looks with tat one an automatic. And also it might not go into first and it is sluggish as hell when you go to pull out. Like Robo said a tranny is really easy to guess at when it goes bad.
