Ok. So i need to change the transmission fluid in my 97 lx 5 speed. I know i'm supposed to remove the vehicle speed sensor that is in the tranny to check/add fluid. The haynes manual doesn't give a detailed description of where this sensor is, but i think i've located it on the top of the tranny, on the side near the firewall. My question is this: If this is indeed the sensor, how the hell do i take it out? it's way back in there and i can't see a hex head or anything. is it threaded into the tranny case?! it looks like i'm going to have to remove the throttle body and intake manifold to even see it all at once. If anyone can help me out here i'd really appreciate it, especially since my retard friends and i have already drained the old fluid.
