I was wondering if the transmissions from the 2nd gen lx´s are the same as the transmissions from the 2nd gen gt´s? Thanks :-]

no, it is not. They may seem alike at a glance but they are not the same and are not interchangeable.

The 92-96 Escorts/Tracers use the SAME EXACT transmission. The LX/Tracer models just have taller gears.
