This is going to sound silly but has anyone, who has owned two or more Escorts, ever had the urge to trace where their former Escort went to after they traded it in?? I just read a post below about a '98 sputtering with the AC on and I just checked my old VIN and saw the carfax records changed from 18 to 19. Somebody probably fixed up all the rust and resold it. It was a great car, compared to the one I have now (no annoying vibration issues) and I'm wondering if I shouldn't have attempted to purchase new rockers instead of give it up. The rust compromised the frame as well. Could this have been fixed????
