Hey Guys and Gals,
I am new to this form and the asscotion, so please go easy on my first post.
I recently purched a 99 Tracer, and noticed a cupple things.
1. The Tracer is the Escort with the words ford and escort taken off it and mercury and tracer put back on.
2. This is the question is the 2.0 I4 SOHC the same for both the escort and the Tracer?

If it is can Any one give me some Ideas on Engine tuning and also Forced Induction/Thratle body replacment/Air Intake, Cat. Replacment, Exchust Manifold rplacment and Exchust system inprovments?

Absolutely Identical. If it fits the Escort, it will fit the Tracer. Everything you listed is avialable for your car. The question is what do you want to get out of it. A more responsive daily driver, or as much power as possible? Parts, Projects and Pricing will vary widely for each.

well thats good I am glad to here it.

I guess what works best for engine proformance, (more more Power/with out sackin fule econ. to much)
1. Exchust manifold
2. Air Intake
3. Throtle Body

What also Works or What companies make parts for A larger Cat (the current one is 2" if my memory is right and i think the largest that works is 2.5 or so. )and also Proformance Exchust
