They do pop right on, but the refractor pattern changed for 93 so you might wanna keep an eye on that although it doesn't matter. The socket twist in pattern also changed that year, so if yours is different you have to get sockets to match the new fixtures, cut off your old sockets and splice the new ones in. The only time you need a new grille is when you put in Tracer Headlights, and you'd need the bumper too.

ok i have a 94 escort lx and if i find tracer corners from say a 94, would they pop in fine or do i need a tracer bumber?

No I meant if you wanted the Tracer Headlights then you need a Tracer bumper. Looking at it another way, most aftermarket Escort bodykits require Tracer headlights. It's the little kick in the corner of the Escort's headlights that make the difference.
James is right you can just modify your socket(if it's different) instead of replacing it.
If you don't want the orange reflector then just go get aftermarket clears. It would be a hassle to try to remove the reflector. I had Tracer corners to stay legal. You need that orange reflector to stay legal, but I doubt it would ever be enforced unless you are at a donut shop on a saturday night and there are 50 hondas there fixin to go racing.

it would also be OK to have the aftermarket corners and an additional amber reflector stuck on the side ahead of the front wheel. When I ordered the clear side markers for my Saturn, They came with 2 little square reflectors in the box but no mention of them or anything to stich them with. I guess they were just covering their ass. You do still have to put amber bulbs. Any other colour, even clear, is Also illegal.
