IM looking for a 91-96 EGT.. TOTALLY smashed.. not useable anymore. I want to you buy it for cheap and maybe change my tranny. If anyone knows of such a car let me know... a mercury tracer would work 2. or just keep your eyes peeled for one for nuke.

Nuke, I think you´d only want the trans from a Tracer if it was an LTS. That´s the only Tracer model that has the 1.8L Mazda engine like your GT.
I know the trans that goes with the 1.9L engine is different, and this goes for the Tracer as well as the Escort LX and Pony. I´m guessing too that most Tracers, even the LTS came through with automatic, being sold at a Lincoln-Mercury dealer and all. You´re probably more likely to find one in an egt.

Sorry man, my scort´s still runnin strong even at 179,000 miles. I do have an 87 GT that the engine crapped out of if anyone is interested in that. Would be willing to let it go cheap. (like $150 bucks)

i got a 93 LX thats totalled in my front yard, motor and tranny are still good, but the insurance company said its totalled.

Nuke, what all do you need? I have a fairly extensive stock of 2nd gen egt parts. I mean if your looking for an engine I have a engine that needs a valve job sitting around. calipers, radiator, its all factory stuff. much more little stuff no tranny anymore if thats what your after but I many be able to get one...
