so, from www.eomfordparts.com, you can order the 4 struts for $160 UDS, right? and this included just the struts, right? and so, now that i have my eibach springs in, and i want to install them at the same time as the struts, will it be relatively straight forward to install them? as in, does other stuff besides JUST the struts/springs need to be replaced as well? i´d just like to know in advance what kind of installation cost extras i may see when i get them done, cuz i don´t have the heat or hardware @ home to attempt this myself...thxs in advance :-D

i also fergot to mention, i got eibachs for just a tad more than oemfordparts.com woulda sold them from my cousin´s calgary company, but unfortunatly i must look to oemford for the struts cuz the place (Impressions Auto, if you recall) was seeling for $165 Cnd. EACH CORNER :-o
o well, too bad.

EDIT: also, also fergot to mention...
ZXTuner has them for roughly the same, but they mentioned that for the 2gen you have to trim the struts a bit? namely, "1991-1996 Escorts require slight trimming of the top strut bushing." ?

They will fit fine with everything you already have. But you do need to trim the strut thrust bearings to make them fit correctly. All it takes is a dremel or blade and just enlarge the hole in the thrust bearing so it fits over the strut shaft. I should´ve taken pictures of mine for all the times when people ask about these. If you need more help just ask.

if those Tokico´s were anything like the KYB GR2s I have you need to get some strut boots, and it´d probably be a wise idea to switch out your mounts too, unless your old ones look fine to you. Right now I have sitting in my room:
2 KYB Front Struts
2 KYB Front Strut Boots
2 KYB Rear Struts
2 KYB Rear Strut Boots
2 KYB Front Strut Mounts
1 Front set EBC Greenstuff brake pads

Still need to order:
Ractive front Strut tower brace
2 KYB Rear Strut Mounts
1 Set Suspension Techniques 1.5" lowering springs
Haven´t decided if I want to change out my Front rotors yet...mine are still good. Anyone have any experience with Power Stop slotted rotors?

powerstop rotors are good but theres nothing comparable to a good set of brake pads as far as braking goes. I have powerstops on my corvette and they seem no different than stock.
