OK... so I was in Hamilton yesterday driving the jeep and some jacka$$ in a blue escort with a white hood... or a white escort with a blue hood comes barreling around a blind corner far too fast and nearly slams into my jeep. I will have to say you're lucky because I would have rolled right over top of you, and if I see your car parked while I have the jeep, I will be very inclined to do so. If I don't do that, expect to find your car keyed, and if I have time, tires either slashed or at least deflated. People like you shouldn't have a license! Crash into a tree at night with nobody around and die.

Well I know there's a "turn signal free zone" that starts near Hamilton and spreads around the big TO in every direction. Coming up from here, we joke that you stop using the directionals on the Burlington Skyway...

Reason for that is, if there's a gap in traffic in the next lane and you signal... the jerkoff that's behind the gap in that lane will inevitably stomp the gas and cut you off. So "correct" procedure in this area is, see a gap, scream into it, then flash once on your directionals to say "ha ha, I maaaaade it and youuuu didn't stooop meeee"

General other tips for driving in the greater TO area:
Learn which cab companies are owner operated and which cabs are fleet owned by the company, one will yield in a game of "chicken" the other won't.....
Keep a roll of duct tape in the car, you might need it to stop passengers screaming, which distracts you, and you miss gaps in traffic that were at least 6 inches bigger than you needed....

The Hammer really isn't that bad for traffic other than congestion. Although, I feel like I'm one of the few that actually use signals. Toronto is worse, and Montreal is pretty crazy. I think Montreal is about as close as you can get to driving in Europe without crossing the pond.

yea montreal is definately really bad, but then again whenever i was there, it was in a car with ontario plates, and they dont seem too kind to us over there

toronto's not even THAT bad, or maybe ive just gotten used to it since i live here

Yeah, I've driven in Ottawa, Toronto and spent almost 4 years here in Montreal. Montreal takes the cake for sure.

The first year and a half, I drove a car with QC plates. It was still crazy, but I got around fine.

The last 2 1/2 years, I've had Ontario plates. I definitely get treated differently with them on. Little do they know, I'm aggressive for a Quebec driver :D

I get the sheer enjoyment of driving on it 2 times daily in rush hour. I never had road rage in NL but since movin to calgary I swear I am anurism bound or gonna kill someone 1 day.
