hey whats up all. i have a question about my 15" EGT rims. i see alot of ppl favoring the 205/50/15 tires. could someone please explain what each number means? all the tires on my egt are bald (previous owner) and i have to get some new ones. i dont know what tires are on there but they look really big, like rally tires or something. if i get the afore-mentioned tire will they be lower profile?

205 is the tread width, 50 is a percentage which is the sidewall height. the sidewall is 50% of the tread width (102.5). and 15 is the rim size it will fit on.

205/50s will fit on a stock 15x5.5 GT rim, and they will not be low profile. Low profile tires will be more hurtful to the rim when you hit pot holes and bumps because there's less of a cushioning between the rim and the road.
