ok what size does a 98 Escort take??Tire size would tires and or rims from a 96 fit I know they are different body styles.Any help will be appriciated. Thanks

I know the '97 takes a 185/65R-14 tire standard. I'd assume the '98 would be the same.

As long as the '96 wheels are 14" or larger, they should work. 13" or smaller would hit the brakes.

sorry I don't know about any Escorts above 96 I was looking to buy a 98 that needs tires.I did look at several posts and even did a search the sticky didn't come up when I searched so I missed it sorry!!

FYI all 91+ escorts use the same tire sizeing.

not all have the same size I had a 91 with 13"wheels all the others have 14" wheels these tires are a little different than mine.Thanks for the help!!!! Mary

I know they came with different size rims but they all use the same tire sizeing as in,
