the sprocket for the crank is suposed to have a little washer like deal that goes with it. when i changed my oilpump i think i put it on wrong... needless to say it was like a lathe and cut up some emtal down there. so.. does anyone know what it is for or where its suposed to go?

ok i figured it out.. the ring thing goes on the outside of the pulley to keep the belt from slipping... can anyone say.. moron?

Sounds like a lock washer that is supposed to do what you say. If it spins, it'll work like a lathe alright.
