If you're going to get the belt done and pay for a shop to do it, you might as well get the pump at the same time. I had my belt done when it broke, and then 15k miles later the water pump died so I did it myself and put a new belt on with it. It's not really hard to do, now that I have done it once I could do it again in about 2 hours. Just FYI, the belt and pump only cost like $60-70 total, so you are paying huge labor costs to get a shop to do it for you.
