Well my cotter Pin and Nut fell off today.. rude suprise.. anyways i need a new bolt and cotter pin.. can i just pick any *castle looking* nut and washer.. are they *tie rod* nuts, or do they differ from car to car..

As far as I know they are just a high grade castellated nut, just make sure you get one with the same thread pitch.
