I have one big problem when i am driving this car ...
I have made many reparation...



THIS IS THE QUESTION

i have manual shifting ford lx year 1993
Problem appears when i am speeding up my car in 4 and 5 gear from 60Km/h to 80Km/h
Problem is CAR that car in this situation when i am giving more throttle is close to SWITCH OFF like little intefirence ....

Here is what it will be. It may be one of the options that I mention or it may be several of them acting together. You should check them in this order.

BUY OR DOWNLOAD A REPAIR MANUAL...

1. Vacuum leaks at the PCV elbow, master cylinder or any of the assorted vacuum lines. Check them ALL!!
2. Clean the MAF sensor. It is located on the intake to the center drivers' side on the engine.
3. Replace plugs and wires.
4. Check fuel pressure to see that it is within spec. replace filter and pump if needed.
5. Replace air filter.
6. Check for intake gasket leaks by spraying starting fluid (with the little red straw) all the way around the intake mounting surface. If there is a leak...the engine will INCREASE rpms when sprayed with the starting fluid.

I think he's saying that when he gives it gas to accelerate in 4th or 5th gear the car acts like it wants to stall.

sounds like surging problems to me. check if the MAF sensor is damaged or dirty. u'll see a silver housing on the intake after the air filter box with a sensor that has wires at the end. u'll need special tools to take that out.

I was thinking to go and make computer test but here in Europe (Croatia) is just few cars off Ford escort USA Type ...
Will try all the things ...

yea i was thinking about the spark plugs i have replace then year ago and me car was 1year out off road ...

But here is explanation, when you are driving manual shifting car you give trottle to make more speed and go to sec GEAR but me problem is When i give more Throttle then necessary the car make this ONLY IN THIS SCALE 60 to 80K/mh


Me Friend told me that may be problem in Maf like you said and sensor in exhaust will try that

And one more Question can i make replacemend from Escort 93 OXYGEN SENSOR with 4 wires on the 91 WITH 3 WIRES :-/

I have clean all air sensors in the intake,above air filter and i have clean the main bilge pipe with the all housing where the wire fore the throttle
And now is all fine...

Replace my Maf sensor and cleand the main mass and all Fine Thanks fore help

The problem is cold motor my thermostat housing is not working
Thermostat is fine
But 1. and sec hosing are the same not to use

So my kicking problems occurred this Winter
MAIN REASON IS COLD WORKING TEMP.OFF THE ENGINE!!!
