Ford Fiesta with a hardcore 3-cylinder geo-metro engine swap, coupled to a 16 speed transmission, and a 250hp shot of dry nitrous, along with twin turbo setup pushing 29psi boost at idle, #19 injectors, along with performance hub-caps, and awesome riding on strut "bump-stop" suspension, try to beat that, yeah thats what I thought! No hate'n' Don't H8 me cause I drive around in such awesomeness!

...some of you are not ready to believe this one...

A friend of mine claims he has a Skyline. I asked him what kinda engine is he going to swap into it, an RB20, a SR20DET or a QR25. He said that the QR25 was the route he was going to go...

I asked him if he was going to Turbocharge it and he proclaimed "TWIN!"

I told him that he is full of shit.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt and asked if it atleast had V-TEC.

"Well, no shit it's got V-TEC. Every Skyline has that."

Well Thank God for that I thought.

**QR25- Nissan Sentra SER V-spec motor.

sounds more like you are describing mopars than VW's, I've had nothing but good luck with them and as far as compacts go VW was way ahead of the game

the little 105 hp GTi's were better performers than almost all the cars in its class at the time, torqey engines and a killer power to weight ratio and a fairly stiff chassis.we used to get early rabbit GTi's and drop later model twin cams in them for shits and giggles and would have no problems running with cars that had more hp and bigger motors

back in the late 80's I would go to the local strips with my cousins and every once in a while we would run into this little cuban guy that would show up with a really ratty looking early 1 gen escort, thing was 3 differnt shades of primer had the typical 13" mags with wheel spacers and chrome strips over the wheelwells and he would run low 14's all day long... we never could get him to tell us what was in it but you could definately hear a turbo
