Well, after not having any heat out of my "new" PartSource thermostat, I decided to buy are real one from Ford(shudder). Anyways the new thermostat has this smaller piece(looks like a little thermostat)

so which way do I put this thing? Little extra piece on top or bottom.
P.S. I already know I suck at drawing, you don´t need to tell me.

Do you know what the thing is and could you share which way it went ?

Yeah my car always runs on the low side of normal, unless I´m in a fast food drive through then it goes crazy high.

go figure...turbo a car and it runs a little cooler. It´s possessed, only answer.

Well All I did was replace my $7 Part Source Thermostat with a $27 Ford Thermostat. Now considering that the Ford T-stat is like twice as heavy as the Part Source one, I´m not surprised that it works better.

So if anyone is having heating/cooling problem... don´t cheap out get a real Ford thermostat.
