I'd thought about rerouting the freezing cold a/c lines that run around the hood line, to go through the throttle body coolant passages to cool down the throttle body. But then I was reminded that r134 is combustible, and the heat from the engine heating it up probably isn't a good idea. I scratched that thought within the day.

I'd like to see a video of a truck running a low 12 and trapping 110.

r134 and r12 when exposed to open flames will produce a toxic byproduct, but only when exposed to an open flame.

beh, just inject methenol. If your pushing so much boost that your FMIC + injection needle cant even come close to cooling the charge just get a bigger needle and properly sized intercooler, pretty simple. + No drag. And to give you a guys a perspective of something called diminishing returns from intake temp, I spray my FMIC with a hose and let it freeze overnight for the drive to work in the morning. With a thick layer of ice on the IC you get maybe a 10HP difference MAX unless you are boosting over 20PSI, I dont see the AC cooler outperforming a iced out FMIC so why bother. The lighting would have made the 75HP with a good intercooler anyways, it was more of a band air i thinks.

but with the ice on the fmic, the core can be damaged since ice expands and can crush the air passages, lowering the flow of the intercooler.

never had a problem in the 2 years ive had it icing it in the winter. Looks like new. What do you think would happen if it rained then got cold..? anyways, the point i was trying to make is that you are going through too much work to get 10HP. Click your boost up 1 psi when you get a good FMIC and you made up the power right there.
