I think it's just a ported stock manifold. Reason I think that is that they need a core.

Ok I haven't been on in a long time but still fun to look at all this stuff and things people are still trying. Is that an actual picture of the manifold if so its definitely not a stock mani.

lol no secret just been back there enough in many scorts to know there's a good space I did how ever take out a bracket when I did it. But if you have ever taken one of these things apart there's a ton of mounting areas so 1 bracket didn't really do anything to the integrity. This dash has cracked but not where I did the holes so next summer I'm gonna take it out and try to make a carbon fiber one and when I do I'm gonna have a molded in angled area for 3 gauges

I like the sound of this mod. I was just wondering how you keep good tension on the belt without a tensioner, and what is involved with mounting the idler pulley where the tensioner normally goes ?

Of course , I just replaced the two halves of the high pressure lines , but I don't use/won't recharge the A/C and the PS isn't a big deal to me. I'd rather gain the economy/usable power and have the simplicity of less parts.

    Thanks........................................Blake

What about interior mods? dash, seats? painted accents? what would look good? any ideas in removing rear seats in a 95 two door lx hatch? making in a two seater?

This is a great thread. Juggalo, where did your chin spoiler come from?

Nix93, is that a GT front fascia? I like my grille delete, and a lower piece will make me even more happier.

I have a trans cooler, I just need to know if I should completely block off the radiator, or use it in conjunction with the cooler?

    Thanx!

This thread has my suggestion for it. It's a little more complicated than just linking the hoses from the p/s pump, though. But this way will give you the lowest effort of any way I know of short of pulling the rack out of the car and tearing it apart.https://www.feoa.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=77395&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

This thread discuses the cam gear myth...
    https://www.feoa.net/modules.php?name=Fo ... ic&t=78609

ACT (Air Charge Temperature) sensor reportedly influences ignition timing. (think volatility) I think this is the idea behind the ACT/IAT mods. **

Injection and Ignition timing are two different things and should not be confused.

MAF reportedly influences fuel delivery a.k.a. injection timing a.k.a. injector pulse width.

** In order for the ACT/IAT mods to really be effective, I'd think they'd have to defeat the knock sensor; which of course is very bad for the long term health of the engine.

Nice Escort  Did you ever get that carbon fiber dash made? Maybe after you make the carbon fiber dash you can make carbon fiber door pannels and maybe even a carbon fiber headliner

I have it in mine, and the only real difference is throttle response, and that's only in the high end. You won't really get much other improvement from putting it on. The sound it makes though, is what makes me love it the most.

Also, keep in mind that I bought mine used, and that I really messed up the finish with degreaser, so it would look better new. Overall though, I would look around and see if you can find one used, ~60$ is definitely better than $200. Especially when there's not much performance difference.

Sorry if I was an ass to you earlier robertjr. There are peeps that ask the same Q's all the time, when the info is right in their face. Then you never see them again when you pour out all this info.

You have to ask yourself a question when it come to tuning. More power or better fuel economy? you cant have both.

Its all good I didnt take the time to look through the forums so thats my fault. I'm leaning towards better fuel economy. I was just wondering tho If that short air intake would even make a difference. I havent seen anybody or havent found anybody yet thats talked about it.

Currently I'm getting some pretty bad MPGs; just replaced my O2 sensor, and I'm still getting 19-23 city, but I never drive conservatively, so you can't expect too much.
