just not into the big systems like I used to be, but the exhaust sounds decent for just an add on muffler.

BTW... take it from someone who has lost quite a bit of their hearing, be careful with the amount of loud music and bass that you subject your ears to. I used to run 3 amps, 4 8's, and 2 12's back in the day, and I destroyed my hearing. It's frustrating as hell to have hearing problems... trust me.

My buddy thats the manager of the local car audio shop i go to. Says i might lookin around 120db-140db only time will tell. My system right now is loud enough that i can make the mirrors on my buddies blazer at school shake due to the bass from my set up

that fart can sounded a lot better than i was expecting. A guy i used see every now then used to have two 12" and a 15" sub in his little s10 pickup and there was so much bass i couldnt stand it for more than just a few seconds sitting in there. It made your entire body feel weird and like your heart was going to stop lol. One thing i found cool about it though is that you couldnt use a lighter within 3-4 feet from the truck when the bass was going because the flame would get blown out. 8O

your buddy that manages the shop is an idoit. 120-140db is huge asss difference. i know what 140 feels like. my first car hit 140.6db with one of its systems. i also know what 133 feels like. its not near what 140 is. i know that my red car with 3-15's was louder but never tested.

what mic are you using? termlab or audio control. depending on alot of things there can be 3-6 db different. audio control being higher. your amp is 1600 peak not rms. so what is it running rms? i wouldn't say your pushing over 133-135. off what i can see. on amore constructive note. i would get soem expanding foam and put it between your door skin and the sideimpact beam. that is what i did in the red car when i had the big stereo. i also had most of the rear 1/4's filled with it. i can email up pics if you want.

Nice!

My friend had 2 12 solobarics in his mx-3 and it was loud.

I prefered 1 15 and a big a$$ box.

5 1/2 cubic ported..never did get it metered, cracked my font windshield a week after in.

Now I have it in a 2 cubic sealed box in my Mazda3 , not nearly as loud.

My friend used to run 2 15" Eclipses in his, well, Eclipse. Both had 1600 Watt amp for them. He didn't do to bad at car shows. 2nd place at Drop Jaws Freak Show 7 in Warsaw, NC. The Bass was so load he couldn't hear that the Engine had stalled and he drained his battery during the test.

Me, I just want to get something to go behind this jensen 400W Chainsaw I got for free, and I'll be fine with it :D

Where is Chris? He should be all over a n00b audio thread.....

chris has become rather tired of the forums. to many people get bent when i speaks freely. he can be an abresive person at times but that is his personality. he knows what he is talking about.
