rolling rock! also one of my favorites. i can tolerate a lot of american beers, but rolling rock is the only one i can think of that i actually enjoy.

(when i say "american beers" i'm excluding any sort of microbrew stuff....i'm talkin about stuff like bud, busch, coors, etc)

I tend to like the lighter beers like Corona, and MGD etc. I'm not a fan of the darker beers.

I had a Steeler the other day. Well, my friend made me shotgun it when I was already dompletely drunk. I puked literally three second later. never again!

I got a few Mooseheads in my fridge I'm gonna try and see how that is. Also have to try Keiths.

Icehouse is good. But I like darker stuff. Amberbock is gooood, Newcastle isn't bad. Guiness is ok, but I have to wait for the head to go down, not too good. Yuengling isn't too bad, alittle too bitter, and light at the same time.

I'd have to say that as of late, my favorite is Killian's Irish Red.

There's also a good one at Seven Bridges(microbrew/restaurant, dunno if they're a chain), called Southern Magnolia, dark and sweet. Very strong taste, like flowers, or honey.

Can't stand Corona, Heineken, or Natural(NASTY SHIT). I drink Amberbock or Budweiser tho, when I can't get Killian's.

www.gingermanpub.com is a bar I go to on mondays for their logo pint night. They do a different beer each monday. You buy the beer and keep the glass. I got a pretty good colletion going. Its also a good way to try different beers.

I can't believe this thread is on page 2. I'm ashamed of all of you for letting the beer thread die. Such a great thing, and you all just throw it by the way side.

    Here's to beer!

OneGimp... I wish the bars near me did that. I have yet to find any that have label nights. I've heard of that type of thing though and would love to do it, that's how I found out about most of my beers, was through my Bro who went to a few of those promotions in Indiana or something and tried a ton of different beers... I don't recall seeing much from me in this thread by way of a list of faves so here it goes:

    Favorites:
    Guiness
Smithwicks (Smitty's to my friends and I)
    Franziskaner
    Stone "Arrogant Bastard"
    Pilsner Urquell
    Stella
    Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout
    Bass Ale

    Good Beers:
Full Sail Pale Ale (Microbrew From Wash State if I'm not Mistaken)
    Rogue Beers
    Michelob Ultra
    Sam Adams Microbrews or Seasonals
    Newcastle

    Beers I drink just because:
    Corona
    Budweiser
    PBR
    Oregon Honey Beer
    Natty Ice

I'm also a big fan of Hard Ciders for nights I want something with more of a fruit taste... or when I plan on sharing witha girl as most of them prefer ciders to beers in my experience. okay, there's my first real big post for this thread.

Off the shelf...Guinness all the time, or Dos Equis Dark with Mexican.

We have a local microbrewery by my mom's. I usually stock up on their Nitro Stout, Honey Wheat, and Hard Cider. They come in GALLON JUGS!!! As I was in there buuying my last 3 jugs...they told me to drink responsibly!!! Ha Ha Ha!

We went to some southern style bar/grille in Wisconsin. None of us had ever heard of any of the beers other than the Guiness so we took a chance on a pitcher of sunset wheat to try something new. Oh man, that stuff was brutal. So sweet :x Normally between just two of us we can put down a pitcher over a meal. Between 3.5 of us we couldn't finish that pitcher it was so sweet.

Gotta get the Rolling Rock going. My friend told me about that stuff. Probably the most easiest drinking beer I've ever had. It can't be more than 2.5%. I can't believe they even make a light version of that beer, as if it could get any lighter. Its just so smooth though. Really nice. Don't have it in Canada, so I usually pick up a pack when I'm in the US of A.

    Matt
