Been two days now. First day couldn't connect, now its being reported as a "dangerous site." Google searches only pulling up the last time it went down years ago. Oddly enough firefox locks up when I try to connect to the site...hmm...
I can still get on the site with Firefox after clicking "ignore warning." They know about the issue but the owner is away from home for xmas so it probably won't be fixed till he gets home.
Hmm. Google is reporting that the site came under attack through its hosts. And malware was attempted to be installed. Might wanna run some virus scanners if you ignored the warning.
I scanned yesterday and the only thing I got was something old in my IE temp folder. I have Avast so if there was anything trying to get in it would have caught it.
I contacted one of the Regulars - Dareall - thru an ebay ad - and he didn't know either...which is surprising.
TeamZX2 is down and who knows if it will return. Heard there was an issue between the guy that has the server and the current owners.
I don't mean to sound critical, but I see messages like these @ the top of this site regularly: "We are waiting for the system ops team to notify us the issue is resolved." Who actually controls this site? You - the Admin- or some other 'site owner' /'sys ops' that doesn't really care if this site lives or dies? My .02 on the Teamzx2 dying is it got hacked and they couldn't fix it, due to some inappropriate crap I saw right b4 it went offline.
I don't have the FB thing, so when reliable info about the ZX2 site is posted there, can someone post here with the gist of it?
Slapyo sold the site a few years back, most of us were not aware it happened until after it did, that was his call not ours, since then, it took myself and the other staff to even get what we needed and we still do not have all of what we need, but we do have a contact @AG-Admin Philip is around at times and has been helping us resolve some issues as of late, right now we are working on a site slow problem and hoping to reorganize the board, this is not a fly by night company that owns this site now, they own HUGE automotive boards and rest assured they have backups and plans of action incase this site dies out of know where.
