I have a haltech e6x and I'am trying to hook up my factory tach to it. I have a jumper wire on the wire off the coil to the tach and it works but the rpm on the tach is 2000 rpm off from what the haltech say's. How do I fix that?

Thanks for the help

Okay i got a tach conveter from auto meter the part # was 9118. I hooked it up and it didn't work. So i took it all off and put a volt meter to the yellow with blue wire off the coil and it reads 13 volts at idle and around 12.5 with the throttle open. So why would it not run the tach with out the converter?

I do not want a aftermarket tach please help

Thanks
