aight i need some good help so if you dont know what a synchro is stop reading lol jk

yeah so anyway im grinding into second and i just got a new clutch so i know that isnt it but i do know that my synchro is either going or gone

the mechanic told me it wasnt gone so who has an easy fix?
they said putting more tranny oil in would work but i dont think it would
by the way i also have a massive leak in the tranny and it never holds fluid for longer than a couple of days
so can a synchro really be saved? cuz im not paying them 300 more dollars in labour to take out the tranny

heh i know what a synchro is....ive just never replaced one. always took it down to my tranny guy.

If it grinds everytime you shift i would say that the syncro is probably messed up and all the tranny fluid in the world is not gonna help any. If it only does it sometimes tanny fluid could really help. And if it is leaking real bad you shouldn´t drive it because then you are gonna just fuck up everygear.
