I know the rear bar is 3/4" because of the group buy we just did on the 1" rear bars. I'm not sure on the front right off the top of my head. I'm pretty sure Energy Suspension makes bushing etc for the swaybars.

Shameless sales pitch:

Or if its a rear Swaybar you are looking for I'm putting in an order today for the 1" Swaybars. If you want in I'll do it for $200 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. It includes all the hardware and bushings. Just click my link below.

P.S. The website says $209. If anyone wants in today E-mail me and I'll send you an invoice for $200. Make sure you list the E-mail address your Paypal account is under if you are using a different one to E-mail me

So.. I'm going from a 3/4" bar on my wagon to a 1" bar? That's going to be twice as stiff!!!

*breaks out calculator*

% increase in anti-swaybar stiffness = (New diameter/Old diameter)^4

X% = (1 / 0.75)^4

X% = (1.33)^4

X = 316%

Holy crap.. call me Sideways-sloppyjoeboy after I get my bar ;)

(no, beaverboy was not really a name derrived from any parts of the female anatomy)

Okay Skuce.. should be very similar for the GTs and the Wagons, right.. same diameter, I do believe.

25.4mm = 1in

X = (25.4/20.5)^4

X = 236%

That's a pretty significant upgrade. :D (I thought the 316% sounded a little crazy)

For the non-wagon LXs:
X = (25.4/19.0)^4

X = 319% 8O

:D

the front bars have an option of 3/4 or 15/16 for 90-96.
the LTS or lx-E rear bar is 3/4, any one know the front?

:?: I'm trying to get a poly-kit and need to know the front bar diameter. :?:

The control arms f/r are the same in the zx-2 as the LTS,lx-E, and GT.
proly the protege,mx3, and 323...

go with the 15/16 front body mount bushing but i might need to be moded a little , read about it on this page at "clubprotege.com" i would check in 1st gen suspention and search for poly. bushings , i have a direct link to the post and the web page to order these bushing,, but the page is currently down for a moment
but i'm looking for a rear swaybar upgrade so i might be holding off on the RSB bushings

i have a 91 gt and im going to get these

97-99 ZX2 Front Control Arm PART# 4.3152
97-99 ZX2 Rear Trailing Arms PART# 4.7123
97-99 Manual Tranz PART# 4.1106

the sterring rack bushings don't fit a 1st Gen Mazda Protege so it probably won't fit a escort either a person on clubprotege.com tryed to mod it to fit and had no luck and douts there's a way to mod it to fit.
hope this helps.
