hi, i´ve a Escort LX 1995. i have a Kyb with Eibach kit now. I will install soon a 1.8 GTX Engine in my ´scort but i have a list where they talk i need a GT Suspensions for this swap. but my suspensions is for the LX. Does i can stay to have my suspensions or i need a GT suspensions kit ?

the suspension is the same. however you do need the front axles , brakes etc to fit with the new transmission.

Is the suspension really the same? if that would be the case then anybody with an LX could tune their suspension exactly as the GT models...which use MacPherson struts. You should find out what kind of suspension was originally put on your LX before you make any changes. The educated consumer will always win in the long run.

Not really. You still can live with your LX suspension. But faster you go harder you have to break. And LX suspension can do only so much. I´ll be dropping 1.8 J-spec myself in spring. I´ll replace front break disks for a GT bigger ones and convert rear drums to disks.
