Anyone know about the 94 mazda miata 1.8L DOHC engine. Is that the same engine thats in the EGT? If so is the head the same as in the exhaust posts and every thing, because Jackson Racing make a supercharger of that engine and I just want to know if it will fit.

It´s the same block, but a slightly different head. The supercharger is not a direct bolt-on (intake manifold faces wrong way), so you would have to do some customization to make it work.

If you put the Miata head on our car (if its possible) would it ease the installation a bit or just throw out a whole nother list of problems? If the Miata head itself was used would there be a difference in power? Also how much was that supercharger kit? I´m not interested myself, but others might wanna know how much it is.

I agree, a turbocharger would be a hell of a lot less costly and weighty. I´m pretty sure it wouldn´t rob quite as much power to make it back either. I would leave a supercharger for a V6 or V8.
