Aite boyz...I've got a "moonroof"..but its one of those you manually "pop" open. I've seen escorts with motorized ones that slide back. How hard would the swap be? I know on some things the wiring is already there, is it there in this case? thanks all mighty and wise gurus!

From all the sunroofs i've seen, you're going to need the motor, the glass, the tracks/rails it slides on, and a new headliner that will fit around all of this.

The swap probably wouldn't be too hard, getting it to not leak may be signifigantly more difficult.

By far, the easiest, most sensical way to do the swap is to sell your car and then buy one with a power moonroof. I'm not kidding.

The power (factory) and non-powered (dealer installed) sun/moon roofs are a totally different size and nothing about them is alike. It's is not worth the time and effort to cut the roof apart and risk having a leaky roof.
