I would like to make a suggestion to everybody and especially those who know nothing about cars or very little or just not much about Escorts...GET THE DAMN CHILTON MANUAL. It helps...it really does. Full of diagrams and step by steps on everything really...Just my 2 cents.

I recomend both manuals Haynes nad Clinton)) Both have something different. for example Haynes doesn´t show anything about tranny fluid thne Clinton does...and etc.

I suggest spend the 100 bucks and get the FACTORY manuals. step by step on EVERY repair possible on your car. not just the half assed chilton types.

I got my factory Ford manual on Ebay for like $10... I also have the Haynes manual too... Both are invaluable!

o haven´t had too much need for my haynes (which is a good thing), but it is quite handy for things like when i changed my front speakers, tightened my spolier, ´tis a coo book if you get it for a good price, i got it $20 Can, $13usd

sorry that sounded a bit harsh. I have been really frustrated any time I TRY to use the chiltons etc. The factory shop manuals can be found on ebay usually.

Woohooo!!!!!!!!! I just won an auction on Ebay for a full shop manual. I can´t wait till it comes. Now I can do alot more things myself.
