I finally got my DropZone coilover kit today, off of Ebay, These will work with my OEM struts, But i was thinking of replacing them right away while i am installing the coilovers. Could anyone give me an idea as to which would be good with coilovers? I was going to get the KYB gr-2 struts they are nice and pretty cheap, But i was reading a bunch of reviews and i heard they are horrible on cars with coilovers, or more then a 1" drop, and that they are way to soft and make the car bounce. So then i looked at Tokico but they are like 90$ a piece!!! i cant afford that, So then i seen some Suspension-Tech struts which are cheaper and they are supposed to be great for vehicles with coilovers or lowering springs..... ANY IDEAS anything??!? please lol thanks. :-]

yes, they´ll fit. here´s more info, it´s the exact same product, all 4 tokico´s, and as far as i know, they´re the only tokico struts for fords.

http://www.zx2racing.com/store/struts.htm

regarding eibach springs, they are engineered to match them perfectly (the zx2 s/r has the match) but that doesn´t mean they won´t fit anything else

but don´t buy them from zxtuner, oemfordparts is cheaper :)

Get the front Thrust/Strut bearings off a 3rd gen Escort or a ZX2...you´ll need them!
Grab the bump stops and dust boots also if you are getting the thrust bearings from the wrecking yards.
