Does anyone know what size the bottom rear strut bolts are? I need to buy new ones.

..LoL... you have no idea how much trouble i had trying to find thid out for myself awhile ago..

They are metric which i found out..lol..

12mm (diametre) x 60mm (Lenght) x 125mm or 150,, or 175mm that depends on fine thread or course thread which ever you want ot use i woul go with the 125mm fine thread if i were you!!!

I think you mean thread pitch on the last part-----1.25, 1.50, 1.75

so you need a M12x1.25-with a 60mm length for example
thats how they will be listed just to eliminate any confusion

and also I dont think I have ever come across a bolt on my escort that is a SAE (standard) size. Just assume everything is metric on these cars unless you find out something different

Yep...they're metric, and M12 sounds right.

I just took the mangled one (mushroomed from beating it out) to the hardware store and matched the size. Fine thread is probably better, but I ended up with a coarse thread, and I'm OK with that.

*I haven't found any SAE fasteners on the 'Scort yet, either...and that's a real luxury compared to my Ranger, which is about 60/40 metric/standard, with no rhyme or reason (and the replacement parts often don't match the factory ones...)

you can also get them at the ford dealer, just order them for an 03 zx2, they are the same. this will give you the correct high grade bolt with the correct little shoulder at the end just under the head.

it seems like they have started to mark older cars as "all parts unavailable"
