Ok So i have a broken rear passenger spring.
Since I will need to replace it I am wondering if I should go with the zx2 strut and springs in the rear? The front is fine for now. so won't be doing those until next year.

Are the rears a direct bolt in? Or do I need to modify anything?

would it lower the rear any over stock?

I'm going to be putting GT 7spokes on the car if the makes a difference.
Also where can i get a good deal on them in canada.

You can use the ZX2 struts and springs, but if you're installing them on a 2nd gen, you will have to use 3rd gen upper mounts and bearings, since the strut rods are thicker on the ZX2 struts (3rd gen sedans/wagons, too).

thanks! I wasn't sure if the backs were different.So will i still have to make the hole bigger to fit the bigger still or just get the 3rd gen upper mounts?

will it be ok to just do the rears for now?

Yes it's a 93 lx. I forgot to mention that.

No sense in installing new struts if you use the same tired old mounts. The mount-to-frame bolt spacing is the same, so like LOWETGT said, they bolt right in.

I thought only the fronts had the bigger shaft size and the rears were the same size?
