So today, out of the blue, a second FEOA member showed up at my door.

A few years ago, Budge suddenly appeared at my door, looking like he just got out of jail and had been on the lam for a couple of weeks. My wife and I stuffed some food into him, let him piss in our house, gave him some supplies and sent him on his way. WEIRD DUDE!

Today, as I was just finishing dinner, the doorbell rang. My wife got it and said some dood was here to see me. I knew this was a lie, because I have no friends.

So I went to the door any way, assuming it would be some Jehovah Witness crackpot that my wife didn't want to talk to.

Well, turns out it was MADBRAD, who is up in the area on contract for a few months at the nuke plant where I work.

Small world, man. Small world. He caught us just in time; we will be moved out of this house within a week or so. Claims he knew approximately where I lived and just drove around looking for an Escort.

Just follow the bread crumbs.

So, I told Brad I'd drop by FEOA (haven't been here since 2008) and start a thread.

My wife farted out our second kid in January (girl). We've sold our existing slum shack and will be moving to our new little shoebox in the swamp very shortly, as mentioned. Still driving my 2nd 91 LX (320,000 km), but she's starting to rust. This summer has been completely sh!tty, in terms of weather. Just got done five weeks of pat leave and return to the grind tomorrow. .

What's new with all y'all mofos? Saw Nihil's giant log in WW (and am quite impressed). Got a few PMs while I was gone - sorry to anyone who needed a quick response.

My 2nd LX has been virtually problem free, so I have almost forgotten how to work on these cars and thus don't come on here. Found a new hobby, since we're building a home theatre room in our new house. Joined an HUGE A/V forum and have spent a fair bit of time there. Talk about an expensive hobby! Good thing I saved all that money by driving a $500 car all these years. I'm about $45,000 in to the HT room...and counting...and the room will need a Rev 2 rebuild some time next year if I find some more loot. Good thing my wife doesn't know how much money I've dropped there.

Anyway, e-beers all the way around.

Post up, dirt dogs!

My advice: don't let Brad anywhere near any of your lamps unless you want trouble with your better half and be forced to sleep on the couch.

And drive the rust bucket until the seat falls through the floor.

Nothing much to report here. I've been dumping more money into a black hole- I mean my Escort than it's worth, but then again just getting an oil change probably pushes most Escort owners over the top. Going to get enslaved- I mean married soon. Hopefully, she will make me get rid of the Escort, but I doubt it because she seems to like it. She even said it's nice. I think she needs a CAT Scan. It's one thing to take an interest in a loser like me, but to say an Escort is nice too? She must be slap crazy... ahh, just my type. :p Makes sense now. So, how is everyone else's crappy life going?

Wow, it has been a long time. I'm glad to see the (2nd) old LX is still kicking. It's still got some pieces off the original rust rocket, correct?

For my part, it's been over 2 years since I've had an Escort (Tracer in my case) - but I'm still around the board. Just goes to show what a sadist I am. Not much else to report, as I never really revealed too much personal info around here. I am doing much better personally since I got rid of the Tracer, which I guess says something. I don't know what it says, but it definitely says something.

Hey! I was wondering if you were still around, same goes for marclar. I had a couple LX's (never one color!) back in 05-07. I even ditched one, I shared pictures of that. Then I moved on to Supra's and gained more car knowledge than I ever thought I would. Probably have a total of seven or eight engine swaps under my belt now, nothing major just swapping out engines. Did some suspension work and that's about it. It eventually got the point where I was putting too much money into it and it wasn't on the road for very long before something else broke. Basically owned it a year and a half, put over $5,000 into it, and only put six thousand miles on it. So I sold it and bought a 91EGT. I've put less than five hundred dollars into it and have already driven it 2,000 miles in just over a month, baha! But like Cymmantix said, I never really shared much of my personal life, but things are going well on my end. 22 and still no kids! I'm doin alright, haha.

I should have "just stopped by" when I was up your way last summer. Unfortunately stalking is prohibited on company time. That and my truck made a poor getaway vehicle.

We should really do beer some time.

Yes, for those that don't know, the LX I currently drive was for sale two hours from me. Cymmi found the on-line ad and let me know. I bought the thing and two days later the brake lines failed in my old LX. Having already done brake lines once on that car, I vowed never to do them again, so I put a bullet in the old girl. Took a guy 2000 miles away to find me a car 100 miles away from me. All rise, and here's an e-toast of Canadaland's cheapest beer to Cymmi.

Fattits, you should have dropped by. I'm disappointed to hear that you dint (remember "dint"?). Y'all are always welcome. We take in strays and rarely shoot 'em. It's the small town way. My wife claims she's not giving me another kid, so I have space for squatters in the new shack. As hard as it is to believe, I still :pint: beer.

Any new high res beaver shots in the WW forum thread about posting naked pics of your ex? As soon as my wife divorces me, I'll find some pics from the delivery room for y'all. :music1:

Good to see some of you old timers are still hanging about. I thought by now it would be mostly a new crowd.

Cheapest or not, I'll take it. Been far too long since e-beers were passed around here.

Off topic/WW used to be happening spots. Now, not so much. There's still some chatter but it is a far cry from what it once was. It's funny - I'm a lot busier these days (with work and all... in this board's heyday I was still in college), so I'm sure I'd never be able to keep up now with the pace we used to whore it up around here.

There are too many damn bugs up here.

How'd the mini putt go? Make it? I felt bad for the little vagina log. I didn't wanna take up any time but then I just went with the flow. Lets go for a real beer.

The bugs aren't too bad. The lake wind keeps 'em at bay. It's been cold and damp this year, so they may be a bit worse than normal. Keep in mind, you're in rural Tiverton. That's a far cry from the megatropolis known as Port Elgin.

The mini-putt was a big winner with the little dood. Also had an ice cream and a train ride. He went to bed happy.

Beer is required. I work kinda long hours (get up at 5:15, rarely home before 20:30) and then like to try to get home before Kid #1 nosedives into the bed. Also, a bit busy with house moving for the next little bit, but we'll find time.

Umm, yes. Yes it can.

If you really wanna see time stand still, drive in-land to Glammis, Keady or Pinkerton.

Anyone else miss highanddry... I missed this thread and thought I should bring it up for old times sake. I hope that some day he sees this and says something in reply.
