2nd Gen EGTs used MacPherson struts, which is the same strut used by Subaru, some Fords now, even Chevy's and a few other car companies. I bought KYB GR2 Gas Struts to replace them with along with some Suspension tech 1.5" lowering springs. Haven't had the chance to get them on yet because I have too much going on. (starting a second job and in the process of searching for an apartment)
