Just wondering if there is a good set of stock rims out there that would look good on a 2nd gen escort. Money is tight, that's why I ask for stock lol.

    Junkyard!!

I hit our local yards pretty often looking for parts...wheels are high on my list as I bought a few sets of nice 15" Bridgestones before I realized my 89 GT wheels were not a fit for my 91 Pony.

I have had more luck finding aftermarket wheels than finding stockers.
If you want 14" then the 7 spoke LX wheels are readily available.

$200 bought me a set of 15 inch Eagle alloys with 2 new tires and 2 about 70%...my 13" pony wheels take about $170 for a new set of tires.

Check some of the local tire shops as they have "takeoffs" that are usually reasonable.

Thats why they call it a search!

    I type in "4x100"

Sometimes it takes a lot of searching to find a good deal.
Just walked up on a nice set of Enkeis at the salvage yard...but sold them with another Escort I had.
Bought some Eagle 15 inchers that turned out to be 4x108/4x110 pattern!!
Finally found a set at a swap meet for a good price and found a set of stock swirleys for $30!!

Found a trick for when I forget my tape measure or wheel ring...100 mm is 4 inches or 2/3 of a dollar bill.
Just fold it into thirds and measure straight across.
A Marlboro 100s box is also 4 inches (100 mm).

Standard business card is 2 inch by 3 1/2 inch...you do the math.

I like this site for statewide searches too!
