[Foxy]

I recently started noticing a creaking sound in my steering wheel . it is not a power steering whine , but rather a creak as like a door on ungreased hinges . not real loud but noticable when the radio is off .I would like to know whether this noise is anything to be concerned about . If it is I`ll take it to the shop and have them check it out under warranty . If it isn`t anything then I`ll just ignore it . 2002 Escort S E , power steering tilt wheel thanks H

If it's under warranty, why would you NOT get it checked out? I did have an adjustable wheel pull out on me and it's not a good experience. Do get it checked just in case.
