My local WalMart had lots of toilet paper this morning.
I'm going to poop on it!
I suppliment tp with baby wipes, but I'm still on my first roll of toilet paper.... On my third tub of coffee though!
Coffee coffee coffee!!!!
Yup. Difference between inside the Balt/Wash metro area, and middle of Alabama.
is there really a such thing as ammo hoarding:? i think 10k rounds for each firearm you own is average... right..
For rifles sure, but I don't expect to go through thousands of handgun rounds in battle lol
I was thinking that 10K rounds was kind of low, but then again, my rifle of choice is a M134.
10K rounds per firearm means I have a lot more ammo to buy. Even with approximately 40K rounds of .22LR in stock I'm only about 40% stocked. All other calibers except .45ACP I'm below 10%.
All this talk about guns makes me miss my Schmidt Rubin model 1889. OK well maybe not that much. That thing was a PITA to get ammo for.
want to go out and fire few rounds. If we ever get two days in row where it's either not raining or too cold I'm taking my newest .22 pistol and a brick of ammo out and break it in. Just as I finished typing this it started raining again!
I used to have an 1884 model Springfield Rifle, the kind with a breech that pivoted upward. The regular ammo was over $7 each (in 1953), but I had a good supply of battered .410 shells. These fit well enough, except the discharge would always split the brass part of the cartridge. You had to squeeze your eyes shut just as you pulled the trigger to avoid getting stung.
^we have a regular Elmer Keith!

Perfect. We'll having a baby boom following the zombie apocalypse. (... and frankly that'll probably happen regardless of any such shortages)
