Not only stay safe, but also stay sane because this is nowhere near as bad as people are making it out to be and everyone gathering at wallmart to fight over TP is not helping.

Back in Novembe whenwe arrived we bought enough toilet paper for our 6 months stay down here in zip code 78570. When we go back to zip code 22312 I hope the shelves will be restocked.

The only thing I have been hoarding for the last couple of years is a nice pile of new/used 2nd gen Escort parts.
Dont ask to borrow any of them. Im a gun owner.

Ironically I have inherited several large boxes of toilet paper. I was helping clear out an estate of hoarders. They apparently would steal quantities of toilet paper every time they went to a restaurant.

They also paid to have it shipped into the country. A good example of false economy.

Sadly when this panic is over it is likely that the large quantities of foodstuffs and supplies hoarded by some, will be thrown out by a large number of them, rather than carefully used up.

I'll let you know if I see any in the stores!
But if you have a working shower, why do you even need any TP?
I would only need TP if I were going into the office. I do question if the office has any though. I haven't used any TP for days now.

I found that HW stores still have much of the none food products that are being hoarded.
But hay maybe we will have a mass stomach flu outbreak after this and all the cough syrup will be horded ?

22lr os always hoarded here in the states. Its cheap amo that takes up little space, the guns are cheap too and 22lr is very practical for both hunting, target shooting and so on.

Depends on what you call hoarding. I suspect between .22LR, .22Mag, 30-30, 7.62x54R, .45ACP, 9MM, and 20 gauge I'm somewhere in the neighborhood 50K rounds but at least 80% of it is .22LR. I have several rifles and pistols chambered in .22LR and it's not hard to shoot it a brick at a time. I've got a new .22 pistol that I need to break in if it ever warms up and stops raining every other day. Personally I call hoarding buying something in bulk that you have no intentions of using, this is not the case for me. After the last shortage of .22LR that lasted for several years I vowed to keep plenty in stock for the next time. I was lucky that I'd just bought about 3 cases of .22LR right before Sandy Hook. The reason I'd done so is because that was election year and I knew if the demon-crats won there would be lots of gun control talk which would drive up the price and demand. This time I waited until the shortage was over and the price was back at or below normal and stocked up. I refuse to pay $50-$100 a brick for .22LR like some were doing during the last shortage. All of what I have was bought for under $18. a brick and some as low as about $12. a brick. Who knows I may have to trade some of it for toilet paper.

You do realize that this is at least 90% (or more) media hype, and that the overwhelming number of people who actually die are like at least 80 (avg 81 in Italy) and have heath issues and are going to die soon anyway.

Nobody seems to remember previous "pandemics":
    https://www.cdc.gov/flu/pandemic-resources/1957-1958-pandemic.html
    https://www.cdc.gov/flu/pandemic-resources/1968-pandemic.html

But there was no internet or constant TV attention, or political agendas back then.

Now if I were Denisond3 or FordMan59, I would probably stay home until this is over, but I don't think we even have anyone else here that is nearly that old (and I am in my mid 50's, and totally not worried about it).

I agree fully, even look at how H1N1 was handled not to long ago. its nothing like this.
Now that is not to say we should not be taking it serious and not be doing stupid stuff like hacking around older/at risk people. Its still a illness that can kill much like the flu or phenomena.

Yeah, I think Denisond3 has a few years on me. I'm only 60 but have chronic pain and other health related problems. I'm not overly concerned but, I'm trying to be as careful as possible about coming into contact with lots of other people. My mom is 88 and I just told her if she had body aches, coughing, or just generally feeling bad to be sure to get medical attention right away and not to put it off.
