my starter engages every time that i push the clutch in the whole way what could cause that

The clutch position/safety switch is closing circuit to power the starter. The starter solenoid in engaging with the contact of the switch. I believe you need a new starter.

why would i need a new starter mine works fine it just turns on everytime that i push in the clutch. oh and when the key is in the run possition all i have to do is push in the clutch i dont even have to turn it to run to use the starter

could be your ignition switch, id pull things apart and test resistance
