it seams like a good deal. however fancy shiny pipes arent going to add you power. youllget the same amount of power from removing your airbox and aplying a generic cone filter. save $$

I've basically done that, and i added an elbow and put my filter down in that little cubic space above the left front tire. It's kinda sorta cold air down there. If I used the same elbow on the zx tuner intake, would that help me any?

So, having the stock intake down to the MAF sensor won't cut down on power?

I can't remember now, but that's a good point, I'll have to do that. Disconnecting my battery and pumping my brakes to drain the rest of the "juice" works right?

using the same main piece wont do anytihg to power change. it is that size for a reason. making it bigger can actually lower low end power. just attaching a cone filter to your maf with an elbow wont have any adveerse affects. as long as the size of the intake stays reltively the same diameter it doesnt matter what you do.

Yea, I pretty much get that idea. Everything's about the same diameter. Wish I had a K&N filter though....mine's a cheapo generic.

I went with a CTA Motorsports kit. I am pretty impressed with it so far and it came with a Tornado air filter. I am going to add the relocation kit to drop it into the fender well and then run piping to have a cooler airflow from the air dam. 97 LX SPI :D
