lately ive noticed that my guage is a little off:

i was driving on the freeway the other day, and i went faster to go with the flow of traffic which is about 60-65mph, and my guage was at 95-100mph already. i know for sure i wasnt going 100mph, so i went faster to see what the guage would do, and before i knew it went all the way to 0-5mph.

the guage does this at around 55-60mph.

is there any way to reset or rewire a new mph guage, how would i fix this problem?

where exactly does the cable go into the trans?

is it easy to locate?
