not that rare. Those were the premium wheel for 3 years of zx2 production. I'll still take them and use them on a car of mine :p

What had he been stealing the gas From?
In most of the areas where I buy gasoline, the pumps dont come on till after you have either stuck your credit card in the slot (and maybe typed the zipcode), or gone in to pay ahead of time.
Do they trust customers enough to have 'open' pumps in Menomonee?

They need better resolution cameras. The license plate would be readable then.

Sometimes its not just the resolution. The poor focus on old CCTV cams added with the low bit rate on DVR/CCTV system, or interface on analog CCTV cameras and low FPS can be just as much as a problem as the low resolution.
On top of that higher bit rates, resolutions and FPS limit recording time so many places opt to lower those in favor of a longer recording time.
Regardless they defiantly could use a better camera system.

Pretty good chance that if they did know the plate number and ran it, it would turn up that it was stolen.

A neighbour got the plate number from some thieves' van at a friend's property recently. The cops tracked the plate to an old guy who lived nearby. It was stolen off one of his vehicles, but he hadn't bothered reporting it. o_O
