I wanted to ask if anyone had a pic of where the air intake for the AC is. I wanted to shoot lysol in it to killy the fungus-y smell i got comin from the vents.

Febreeze works better, IMHO. In any case, shoot a cloud of the stuff up in the passenger footwell under the glovebox, with the a/c on recirculate or max a/c and the fan on high, and it'll find it....

Hi Dutch,

Shouldn't I see like a hole where I feel some air being sucked in? I snuck a peak and didn't see anything where it looks like I could shoot up lysol up a duct or anything.

The intake is under the cowling on the passenger side of the car. With the hood open, the opening for the intake should be visible.

The intake is under the black cowl cover on the passenger side about 1 foot from the fender. It's a raised metal cage to keep out leaves and mice. Unless you keep your car garaged, that whole area under the cowl cover becomes clogged with a mat of dead leaves and leaf mulch. If you have an hour to spare, a small thin flat blade screwdriver to pop off the cowl bolt covers, and a T-15 torx screwdriver, it would be worthwhile to clean up the mess under there to allow water to drain away from the air intake. You don't have to remove the wiper arms, just park them vertically.
