Still does not change that it was magically fixed after bringing up the problem.
You're not understanding me. (often happens with out-of-context quoting) But that's okay.

No I under stand you 100%. Your just trying to cover your butt. I work in the tech field and know for a fact spell check is not just a browser end problem and that sites do have control over it. I also know how folks cover their butts when something goes wrong in the tech field. like in your case you toss a bunch of tech lingo unrelated to the problem (bringing up hyperlink URLs witch has nothing to do with spell check) and blaming the problem on something else wile at the same time having the problem fixed to make the user look like a fool. Also I had you blocked so that I did not have to deal with your smug nonsense posts again.

Xenforo accepts plugins. Those plugins are basically scripting. Those plugins (or scripting) can interfere with browser-based spell check. I've watched the issue on my own system over multiple forum sites. This is not the same thing as saying that the site has control over browser-based spell check.

I noticed the same thing with dead links, maybe those threads predate a certain cutoff point before which the threads are no longer on the site?

I think it's supposed to link back to here...
That was taken from here: Engine - Occasional runaway idle
So I think there were some links that were just missed.

As an example, my externally hosted pictures are fine here:
ATRATB039 02/01/1991 A/T - G4A-EL/4EAT Low Pump Pressure

My feoa hosted pictures are missing here:
Electrical - 1995LX Rear Defog switch replacement with...
Broken interior door handle plastic fix - 1995LX
Pictures of what is inside the accumulator

And probably a whole lot more.
This has been ticketed off as it was a third-party gallery that looks to not have migrated over.

They will see what they can do to restore them but no promises or ETA at this time.

VE-6223

Jeff
FYI they have started working on restoring the above, no ETA on a fix but it has eyes on it.

Ticket - VE-6223

It's not a "bug" as such, but an annoying missing feature is the option of skipping to last read post. You can only skip to the very end of a post now.

Unless I've missed the feature somehow.

I'll try my best to explain without just rambling. So basically, if you see a thread you've never read before and click on it, it should take you to the first post (always). If its a long thread that you've been involved in but haven't read in a few days, when you click it, it should drop you to the last read spot. If its a thread you're caught up on but still want to revisit, it should dump you at the end.

Is this now what is happening for you?

Yep, that is what happens, except for old posts (I just looked at one updated after two years) where it starts at the beginning, not where I left off.
This was a post I contributed to, as well.
So I guess I can live with this.

After I believe either 180 days or 365 days, the position resets to the original post.
