    what car could i take the shifter out of and use so that i would have shorter throws. cause im gonna go visit the junk yard soon. any help would be awesome.

    haven't heard of there being a vehicle that has a shorter shifter. I can get both the B&M and pacetter units if you are looking for a new unit though.

    from what i hear, the stock protege 5 shifter is shorter that the escort one and fits
